Rase Veterinary Centre is proud to be one of only five veterinary centres in the UK equipped with the Qalibra Computed Tomography (CT) system. This state-of-the-art technology delivers exceptional diagnostic imaging while offering significant advantages for both patients and clinicians.
Our helical CT scanner provides outstanding image clarity, enabling highly detailed assessment of complex conditions and supporting faster, more confident diagnoses.
Specialist Interpretation:
Every CT study performed at Rase is interpreted by our board-certified Veterinary Radiologist, Dr Linda Rutigliano (MRCVS, Dip ECVDI), ensuring accurate, clinically relevant reports that support the highest standard of patient care.
In addition to reporting studies acquired at Rase, Dr Rutigliano also provides interpretation of externally acquired imaging, whether you require a primary report or an independent second opinion.
Non-sedated patients
A unique feature of the Qalibra CT system is its ability to lower the gantry to ground level, allowing selected patients to be scanned without sedation. This can be particularly beneficial for:
Where minimising anaesthetic risk is essential.
Patients requiring regular metastatic disease monitoring.
Orthopaedic follow-up cases.
For metastatic and orthopaedic follow-up scans, patient cooperation is important, and many owners successfully train their dogs to remain calm and still during the procedure.
